Unit 7-The Executive

Students will examine the executive branch of government. Through the Constitution and tradition, the branch has defined its role and at times increased its powers. Students will learn about presidential elections and requirements for office, powers and roles of the presidency, the president's roles in foreign policy, and also about the federal bureaucracy.
