Unit 4-Bill of Rights & Amendments

Picture
In this section, students will learn about the ten amendments that make up our nation's Bill of Rights.  Specific mention and inclusion of limits to those rights and court cases supporting the expansion and constriction of those rights.  Basis of the unit will also attempt to dismiss the widespread notion that the Bill of Rights grants rights at all, but protects them from the government.

This unit will also encompass the rest of the amendments and how the Constitution has changed based on the needs and wants of society.
